Reviewing a manuscript written by fellow researchers is both an honor and a significant responsibility. At RDENTJ, we value the time, expertise, and dedication of our reviewers. Your contribution ensures the quality, credibility, and impact of the journal.
RDENTJ follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process that is fair, efficient, and designed to maintain the highest scholarly standards. To support this, we ask our reviewers to provide thorough, constructive, and timely feedback, ideally within 15 days of receiving a manuscript.
Our ability to uphold RDENTJ’s reputation as a trusted scientific journal relies on expert reviewers who approach each manuscript with professionalism, integrity, and objectivity.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
If you are invited by the Editor-in-Chief to review a manuscript, please carefully consider the following responsibilities:

Provide a critical yet constructive evaluation, with detailed feedback to help authors improve their work.

Review revised versions of the manuscript, if requested.

Submit your review report within the deadline provided (15 days from acceptance).

Make a clear recommendation regarding the manuscript’s suitability for publication.

Please disclose any conflicts of interest, financial, personal, academic, or otherwise related to the manuscript or its authors.

Report any suspected research misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation).

Suggest alternative reviewers if you are unable to complete the review.

Treat the manuscript and review process as strictly confidential.

Do not use or share any part of the manuscript before its publication.

Refrain from contacting the authors directly or identifying yourself in the review.

Do not delegate the review to a colleague or third party without the editor’s permission.

Evaluate whether the work is original, scientifically sound, and adheres to ethical standards.

Notify the editor if you believe the manuscript is under consideration elsewhere.

Submit all comments and reports in English.

You may be invited to write a commentary related to the reviewed manuscript, where appropriate.
What to Evaluate in a Manuscript
When reviewing a manuscript, please assess the following:

Novelty of the research

Originality of the ideas and findings

Scientific accuracy and reliability

Relevance and contribution to the field

Whether it adds new insights or perspectives to existing literature

Ethical considerations (e.g., human/animal research compliance)

Structure and clarity of the article, in line with RDENTJ's author guidelines

Appropriateness and accuracy of references

Language quality: grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Signs of scientific misconduct or ethical issues
